Partner & Executive Creative Director
Named one of Adweek’s 2018 Creative 100, David Horowitz brings a unique perspective to his role as Executive Creative Director at Mekanism. Formerly a highly accomplished commercial director in the US and abroad, David helped grow the NY office of Mekanism from its inception. For three years he was the lead creative for the HBO account, where he created and co/directed HBO’s first brand campaign in over ten years, the award-winning “It’s What Connects Us.” In addition to his work on brands as varied as Pepsi, Patron, and Fiverr, David helped create and launch the Obama administration’s “It’s On Us” campaign against college campus sexual assault. He is currently the creative lead on brands including Food Network, Ben & Jerry’s, and OkCupid, as well as multiple pieces of new business.
